5 It seems as if one had lifted up

,} ^baxe in a ^{▼▼ Lit thicket}forest of trees.
6 And now ^{▼▼ Lit altogether}all its ^ecarved work
They smash with hatchet and ^{▼▼ Or axes}hammers.
7 They have ^{▼▼ Lit set on fire
,} ^hburned Your sanctuary ^{▼▼ Or To the ground they...}to the ground;
They have ^jdefiled the dwelling place of Your name.
